FOUR PEOPLE CITED AFTER PHYSICAL DISTURBANCE

Roseburg Police cited four people after a physical disturbance on Tuesday night.

Information from RPD said at about 10:30 p.m. officers responded to the incident near the corner of Main and Rice Street in Roseburg. Once on the scene, the fight was already over and officers were able to speak with everyone involved,

The report said an 18-year old man was walking by the home of a 50-year old man when they got into a verbal argument. As they continued to argue, the older man came out of his house and they started fighting in the street. The report said during the fight, the younger man started to walk away when a 20-year old man got involved. That man and the older man started to fight and then another 18-year old man allegedly grabbed a baseball bat and started hitting the older man with it.

The older man did have some injuries, but refused medical attention.

All four people were cited with second degree disorderly conduct. Three of the men were cited for harassment. The man with the bat was also cited for fourth degree assault.

All were released after being cited.
