WOMAN CITED AFTER STOLEN VEHICLE CRASHES

A woman was cited for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, after the sedan crashed on Friday afternoon.

A report from Oregon State Police said the wreck took place about 5:35 p.m. when the northbound driver lost control and left Interstate Five, about two miles north of the Winchester exit. The report said the car had been stolen out of Eugene.

The woman was transported to Mercy Medical Center where she was treated for minor injuries. She was also cited for driving while suspended.
