PAIR ARRESTED FOR GLIDE AREA THEFTS

Two people were arrested on Thursday related to several thefts in the Glide area.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Devin Goodman and Alicia Estrada, both age 21, were suspects in two different thefts that had taken place over a 24-hour period. At approximately 12:00 p.m. deputies contacted the pair in a stolen 1998 Honda Civic, on Little River Road near Highway 138E. O’Dell said a traffic stop was initiated near Catherine Avenue where they were taken into custody.

Both admitted to committing the thefts, according to authorities. Goodman and Estrada were both charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second and third-degree theft and for trespass. Goodman was also held for possession of a stolen vehicle and for a parole violation and detained without bail. Estrada was held on $56,250 bail.
