Roseburg Police cited a woman for second degree theft on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said the 44-year old allegedly cashed out another woman’s lottery ticket at Elmer’s the day before, and left the business without returning the money. Wednesday night the suspect was contacted and said she thought the money was hers since the victim left her machine to use the restroom.

The woman was also cited for a warrant that was out for her arrest, and then was released. She was contacted just before 10:00 p.m.
