A rake caused a wreck on Interstate Five Tuesday afternoon.

A report from Oregon State Police said at about 3:15 p.m. a 29-year old Roseburg man was traveling southbound in the fast lane, about a mile south of Sutherlin, when the rake fell out of a vehicle in front of him. The report said the driver lost control trying to avoid the rake. The vehicle hit the freeway’s center barrier. The car came to a stop on the right shoulder.

No one was injured. The vehicle had to be removed from the accident scene.
