COVID-19 CLAIMS 6 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 433

COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 433 as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 222 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 25,571. The new cases include:

*54 in Multnomah County

*38 in Marion County

*25 in Jackson County

*24 in Umatilla County

*18 in Washington County

*15 in Clackamas County

*9 in Malheur County

*8 in Lane County

*5 in Coos County

*4 each in Douglas and Deschutes counties

*3 each in Lincoln, Union and Yamhill counties

*2 each in Josephine and Morrow counties

*1 each in Benton, Columbia, Linn, Polk, and Wasco counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 55 to 92. 2 lived in Multnomah County while 1 each lived in Baker, Jefferson and Marion counties. The place of death for 1 case is being confirmed.
