COVID-19 CLAIMS 3 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 420 AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state death toll to 420 as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 220 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 25,155. The new cases include:

*59 in Multnomah County

*34 in Washington County

*33 in Marion County

*23 in Jackson County

*22 in Clackamas County

*12 in Yamhill County

*11 in Umatilla County

*7 each in Malheur and Jefferson counties

*2 each in Klamath, Lane, Morrow and Polk counties

*1 each in Columbia, Coos, Deschutes and Josephine counties

Oregon’s 418th COVID-19 death is an 87-year old woman who tested positive on August 16th and died on August 22nd at her residence.

Oregon’s 419th COVID-19 death is a 77-year old man who tested positive on August 14th and died on August 18th at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

Oregon’s 420th COVID-19 death is a 73-year old woman who tested positive on July 29th and died on August 23rd at her residence.

All lived in Washington County and had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
