State Senator Dallas Heard is holding a Freedom Voter Rally on Sunday night.

Heard said the event will be held at the Stewart Park band shell in Roseburg. Heard told News Radio 1240 KQEN he wants to help people understand how to get involved in the process of using their vote to defend their rights. Heard said he will talk about current events, “and the need for freedom loving people to start participating in their civil government process”.

Heard is planning to have a similar rally in Coos Bay next week. He said he has also been asked to conduct rallies in the Eugene/Springfield area, along with in Salem and Portland in the next several weeks.

Pastor Travis Hunt of Camas Valley Christian Fellowship will be the opening speaker ahead of Heard. The rally will begin at 6:00 p.m.
