A Roseburg man was cited for multiple incidents of allegedly stealing beer on Thursday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 11:20 a.m. 50-year old Mark Harper allegedly entered Albertson’s on Stewart Parkway and stole alcohol, after previously being trespassed from the store. He was cited for second degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft and was released.

At 3:00 p.m. the man went into Lil’ Pantry on Northeast Edenbower, and reportedly stole alcohol again. The report said it was the man’s third beer theft of the day, and the clerk was unable to pursue him.

The man was later contacted near Applebee’s and was charged with theft. He was again released after the citation was issued.
