WOMAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING STRUCTURE FIRE

A Roseburg woman was arrested on multiple charges, following a structure fire on Tuesday afternoon.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 12:50 p.m. a deputy responded to the fire in the 1400 block of Roberts Mountain Road. A caller said they were approached by a woman named Natoni Cunningham who stated that she saw a fire. Dispatch said there had been numerous calls associated with the woman.

The report said a small 12×20 building was fully engulfed. The fire was put out but it also burned approximately a quarter of an acre. The property owner estimated the damage to be around $20,000. The 30-year old was charged with first degree counts of arson and criminal mischief, and for reckless burning. She was released from custody on Wednesday.
