A Myrtle Creek man was cited for unlawful use of a vehicle, on Monday night.

A report from Roseburg Police said a resident reported that his pickup was stolen from his home on Calypso. The vehicle was found driving on Beacon Street before a man parked it and ran from the scene. At about 6:30 p.m. a 25-year old man was found in the area, and matched the witness description of the man who ran from the vehicle. K9 Ozzy assisted and was able to back track from where officers found the suspect to the keys for the vehicle.

The man was released after the citation was issued.
