Two people were arrested for a robbery that allegedly took place on Friday afternoon.
Myrtle Creek Police Chief Jonathan Brewster said the suspects allegedly knew the victim. Brewster said an argument took place over money allegedly owed to the suspects by the victim. The report said when the victim refused to give the money back, 24-year old Amber Skurk allegedly punched the victim and stole the victim’s purse. 39-year old Corey Morris assisted in the incident and was the get-away driver, according to the report.
Brewster said officers later located both suspects and took them into custody. Both were charged with second degree robbery and first-degree theft. Skurk was also held for fourth degree assault. She was detained on $306,250 bail while Morris was held on $300,000 bail.
