No one was hurt in a vehicle versus skateboarder accident in Roseburg on Thursday night.

A report from the Roseburg Police said just before 7:30 p.m. an officer responded to the corner of Northwest Keasey and Northwest Beaumont. A male driver was headed north on Keasey and stopped to make a left turn onto Beaumont. He said he saw two boys on scooters preparing to cross the street, so he waited. The report said the boys stopped, so the motorist started to proceed west onto Beaumont when a 7-year old girl on a skateboard riding south on the sidewalk ran into the pickup.

The report said the girl, who was wearing a helmet, was mostly scared and a little scuffed up, but was otherwise fine. Paramedics checked the child and found her to be uninjured.
