COVID-19 CLAIMS 8 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 383 AS OF THURSDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 8 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 383 as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 294 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 22,300. The new cases include:

*84 in Multnomah County

*36 in Washington County

*35 in Marion County

*20 in Umatilla County

*16 in Jackson County

*14 in Clackamas County

*13 in Jefferson County

*12 in Malheur County

*9 in Yamhill County

*7 each in Lane and Lincoln counties

*6 each in Polk, Benton and Morrow counties

*4 each in Deschutes and Linn counties

*3 in Baker County

*2 each in Josephine, Klamath, Hood River, Union and Wasco counties

*1 each in Columbia, Crook and Tillamook counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 55 to 85. 3 lived in Multnomah County, 2 lived in Clackamas County, with 1 each in Malheur, Deschutes and Columbia counties.
