NIGHTIME PAVING WORK WILL AFFECT FREEWAY TRAFFIC IN NORTH COUNTY

Nighttime paving work will affect southbound Interstate Five traffic at two locations in north Douglas County this week.

Dan Latham of the Oregon Department of Transportation said at the north Oakland exit 140, the southbound off-ramp and the right southbound travel lane will be closed for twelve hours starting at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night.

The Rice Hill exit 148 will have the southbound off-and on ramps and the right southbound travel lane will be closed for twelve hours beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Latham said motorists are advised to alternate routes. Drivers should watch for construction signs and traffic control devices.
