Staff with Oregon State Police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying the person or persons responsible for shooting at vehicles along Interstate Five in Douglas, Josephine and Jackson counties.
A release said from the time of the first request for assistance on July 14th, several additional vehicles have been confirmed to have been struck by bullets. Previously only Douglas and Josephine counties had confirmed bullet strikes. The geographic location has been expanded to include Jackson County.
The release said no injuries have been reported. Anyone traveling on the freeway who believes their vehicle has been struck, should contact the Oregon State Police Southern Command Center at 800-442-2068.
