BLOOD DRIVES CONTINUE IN DOUGLAS COUNTY

The American Red Cross is continuing blood drives this week in Douglas County.

A release from the group said the need for donations is urgent, to prevent another blood shortage.

Blood drives will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Red Cross Blood Donation Center on Garden Valley Boulevard. Other drives are:

*Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Masonic Temple in Reedsport.

*Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Myrtle Creek.
