COVID-19 CLAIMS 1 MORE LIFE, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 357 AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, bringing the state death toll to 357 as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 227 new confirmed and presumptive bases, bringing the state total to 21,488. The new cases include:

*45 in Multnomah County

*37 in Washington County

*27 in Marion County

*21 in Malheur County

*15 each in Umatilla and Morrow counties

*11 in Jefferson County

*10 in Clackamas County

*8 each in Jackson and Yamhill counties

*7 in Deschutes County

*6 in Polk County

*5 in Lane County

*3 in Linn County

*2 each in Baker, Crook, Hood River and Lincoln counties

*1 in Columbia County

Oregon’s 357th COVID-19 death is an 88-year old man in Multnomah County who tested positive on July 29th and died on August 5th at his residence. He had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
