A 34-year old man was jailed after an assault incident in Glendale early Thursday morning.

A report said a deputy from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 200 block of North Eight Street at about 1:15 a.m. The report said 34-year old Blaine Snyder got into a physical disturbance with a female victim while he was drunk.

The woman claimed the man had choked her while inside the home. The victim said she tried to leave but the suspect followed her outside and pulled her out of the vehicle by her hair, a few different times. The report said the woman had visible injuries but the man denied ever touching her.

Snyder was charged with fourth degree assault, strangulation, and for harassment. Bail was set at $10,000.
