The Salvation Army of Roseburg is asking for community support as they try to provide school supplies for kids in need this summer.

Captain Kristy Church said with many kids having to go online, they will need more supplies as they will be at home. Church said the Salvation Army wants to put together kits that contain as many items as possible to meet their needs.

The Salvation Army is working with Walmart for a Stuff the Bus drive Friday through Sunday. Residents can purchase and drop-off supplies at the Roseburg Walmart on Stewart Parkway.

Church said school supplies can also be taken to the Salvation Army office on Northeast Stephens in Roseburg. Contact the Roseburg Salvation Army for more information about the effort.
