MAN JAILED FOLLOWING TRESPASSING INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed following a trespass incident on Wednesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said an investigation revealed that Larry Linderman had gone into Safeway, tried to steal merchandise and was threatening employees. The 59-year old had previously been trespassed from that store.

The report said the suspect was found nearby, was intoxicated and was carrying an open beer in violation of his parole.

Linderman was charged with first degree criminal trespass, second degree disorderly conduct, third degree attempted theft, drinking in public and for the parole violation. He was detained without bail.
