A Roseburg man was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck on Wednesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said just after 4:00 p.m. the 19-year old was headed west on Garden Valley Boulevard in the inside lane while traffic was backed up in the outside lane. A 21-year old Eugene man was pulling out of Eden with the intent of turning left onto Garden Valley.

The report said a driver stopped in the outside lane, thought the path was clear for the second driver, and motioned for him to go. As soon as that driver got into the inside lane, the first driver crashed into him.

The report said it appeared that both vehicles were totaled. Both drivers were injured but only the first driver was taken to Mercy Medical Center. None of the passengers in either vehicle required treatment.
