COVID-19 CLAIMS 1 MORE LIFE, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 339 AS OF THURSDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state death toll to 339 as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 267 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 20,225. The new cases include:

*45 in Multnomah County

*33 in Marion County

*30 in Washington County

*27 in Umatilla County

*22 in Clackamas County

*19 in Malheur County

*16 in Jackson County

*12 each in Deschutes and Lane counties

*10 in Jefferson County

*9 in Yamhill County

*6 in Wasco County

*5 in Douglas County

*4 each in Columbia, and Polk counties

*3 in Linn County

*2 in Josephine County

*1 each in Baker, Benton, Clatsop, Coos, Crook, Morrow, Grant and Sherman counties

Oregon’s 339th COVID-19 death is an 83-year old man in Umatilla County who tested positive on July 16th and died on August 1st, at Good Shepherd Health Care Center.
