Two men were jailed following a fight on Tuesday afternoon.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at around 1:00 p.m. a deputy responded to a home in the 100 block of Cameron Lane in the Myrtle Creek area.

The victim said he had been allowing a 19-year old transient to stay at the residence for a couple of days. The report said the victim kicked the suspect out but the second man came back with two other men. The transient fought with the resident causing physical injury to the man’s ribs.

The transient and one of the other men were taken into custody. Charges included fourth degree assault, harassment, first degree trespass and a parole violation.
