A Roseburg man is missing and officials with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are asking for help from the public as they try to locate him.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell said 37-year old Richard Siegrist was last heard from on Saturday. He left a residence in the 300 block of Lad Lane in Green in a silver or gray Honda 4×4 SUV with an unknown license plate number. His destination was unknown at the time he left.

O’Dell said Siegrist is described as five foot seven, 170 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and possibly a beard. He is known to frequent the mountains and wooded areas of Douglas County.

O’Dell said DCSO’s hope is that as people are recreating in the mountains, they will be aware of this case and report any information which may help in finding the man. Anyone who believes they have seen Siegrist or his vehicle, is asked to call the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 440-4471.
