Roseburg Police jailed a man on the charge of harassment, on Tuesday night.

A report from Roseburg Police said an investigation concluded the 43-year old had grabbed the victim by the collar and thrown her on the ground. The report said the incident started over a phone call which led to a verbal disturbance which lasted for several hours.

The victim declined medical attention. Bail for the suspect was set at $6,250. The incident allegedly took place in the 1600 block of Southeast Main.
