COVID-19 CLAIMS 8 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 311 AS OF WEDNESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 8 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 311 as of Wednesday.

The Oregon Health Authority reported 304 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 17,721. The new cases include:

*82 in Multnomah County

*51 in Washington County

*28 in Clackamas County

*20 each in Malheur and Marion counties

*16 in Deschutes County

*13 each in Lane, Jackson and Yamhill counties

*7 in Hood River County

*5 each in Jefferson and Morrow counties

*4 each in Josephine and Polk, and Umatilla counties

*3 each in Benton, Crook and Wasco counties

*2 each in Douglas, Klamath and Lincoln counties

*1 each in Clatsop, Linn, Union and Wallowa counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 65 to 94. 3 each lived in Multnomah and Umatilla counties, with one each in Jackson and Morrow counties.
