OREGON HAD HIGHEST NUMBER OF REPORTED COVID-19 DEATHS IN ONE DAY

Oregon had the highest number of COVID-19 deaths reported in one day since the pandemic began, on Tuesday.

The Oregon Health Authority reported 14 more deaths bringing the death toll to 303.

342 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 were reported, bringing the state total to 17,416. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:

*75 in Umatilla County

*74 in Multnomah County

*40 in Marion County

*31 in Washington County

*15 each in Clackamas and Malheur counties

*13 in Polk County

*10 in Jackson County

*9 in each in Josephine, Jefferson and Yamhill counties

*7 each in Deschutes and Morrow counties

*6 in Lane County

*5 in Linn County

*3 each in Coos, Benton and Clatsop counties

*2 each in Douglas, Klamath and Crook counties

*1 each in Curry and Harney counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 26 to 91 and lived in 9 different counties.
