The Roseburg City Council had a virtual meeting via Zoom on Monday night.

Councilors approved a resolution regarding an engineering services contract for the Douglas Avenue Improvements Project. All bids were rejected for the Stewart Parkway Bridge End Panel Repair Project. The proposed Business Use Of Right-of-Way program was approved.

Jamie Yraguen and Stephanie Newman were both appointed to open seats on the Planning Commission.

Councilors decided to invite state legislators, Parole and Probation staff, Rogue Retreat, law enforcement and Judges Jason Mahan and Ann Marie Simmons to the August 3rd work study session regarding unhoused individuals.

The council meeting lasted approximately two and a half hours.
