COVID-19 CLAIMS 4 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 286 AS OF SATURDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 286 as of Saturday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 408 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 16,492. The new cases include:

*80 in Umatilla County

*73 in Multnomah County

*58 in Washington County

*52 in Marion County

*30 in Clackamas County

*19 in Deschutes County

*11 each in Malheur and Polk counties

*10 in Morrow County

*9 in Jefferson County

*8 in Yamhill County

*7 in Jackson County

*6 in Douglas County

*5 each in Josephine, Lane and Hood River counties

*3 each in Coos, Klamath and Linn counties

*2 each in Baker, Lincoln and Wasco counties

*1 each in Benton, Columbia, Crook, and Harney counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 66 to 88. 3 were in Multnomah County with 1 in Umatilla County.
