9 more people have received positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Saturday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases in the county is now at 116. That includes 111 positive test results and 5 presumptive cases. There has been 1 death and 1 person is currently hospitalized. 40 people are currently in isolation. 7,199 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
The update said the newest positive test results have been directly linked to travel outside Douglas County and especially those residents have chosen to travel outside of Oregon. Additional some cases are linked to close contact at social gatherings.
The next drive through testing clinic with the Douglas Public Health Network will be on Tuesday in Roseburg.
