4 people have new positive test results, with 2 new presumptive cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County as of Friday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases in the county are now at 113. 102 are people with positive test results and 11 are presumptive. There has been 1 death with 1 person currently hospitalized. 39 people are in isolation. 7,120 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
The update said in addition to positive cases being linked to travel, the newest cases are directly related to the increase in social gatherings like birthday celebrations, sleep overs, sporting events and parties.
