COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, with the state death toll at 273 as of Thursday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 331 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 15,713. The new cases include:
*77 in Multnomah County
*39 each in Marion and Umatilla counties
*33 in Washington County
*18 each in Clackamas and Deschutes counties
*13 each in Douglas, Klamath and Polk counties
*12 in Lane County
*10 in Malheur County
*8 in Jackson County
*6 in Wasco County
*5 in Lincoln County
*4 each in Morrow and Yamhill counties
*3 each in Coos, Columbia, Linn, Josephine, and Jefferson counties
*1 each in Crook, Hood River, Tillamook and Lake counties
Oregon’s 272nd COVID-19 death is a 74-year old man in Umatilla County who tested positive on June 29th and died on July 16th at Good Shepherd Health Care System
Oregon 273rd COVID-19 death is a 79-year old woman in Marion County who tested positive on July 8th and died on July 21st at Salem Hospital.
Both had underlying conditions according to the OHA.
