There has been 1 death. 1 person is currently hospitalized. 24 people are in isolation. 6,781 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.

The update said the Oregon Health Authority has reported a workplace outbreak with COVID-19 cases linked to Norris Farms, a family owned farm and fruit packing facility near Umpqua. Douglas County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the number of cases in the outbreak has not been released.

The majority of new cases continue to be linked to travel, and especially those residents that have chosen to travel outside the state of Oregon.
