5 more people have received positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County as of Saturday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases in the county is now at 83. One previous presumptive case had positive test results, bringing the number of positive test results to 73. 10 people are presumptive. There has been 1 death. No one is currently hospitalized for COVID-19. 24 people are in isolation. 6,408 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
The update said once again the majority of new positives have been linked directly to travel outside Douglas County and especially travel outside the state of Oregon.
Another drive through testing clinic from the Douglas Public Health Network is happening Saturday in Reedsport.
