A Roseburg woman was jailed for burglary and kidnapping on Wednesday.

Information from the Roseburg Police said at 4:30 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Northeast Carmen, after a report that an unknown woman had entered a residence and attempted to take a 2-year old child. The report said the suspect, 20-year old Gift Scott, then allegedly went outside and took her clothes off and acted inappropriately in front of the resident and her children.

Scott was contacted a short distance away and taken into custody. An additional charge of public indecency was added. Bail was set at $550,000.
