MAN JAILED FOLLOWING DISTURBANCE

A Prineville man was jailed following a disturbance on Tuesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 8:40 a.m. witnesses described a situation in which the man was the aggressor in chasing, shoving and grabbing a young female and going across the parking lot at Jack in the Box on Northeast Stephens. The report said the incident continued across the roadway.

The man initially gave a false name, but his true identity was discovered. 30-year old Matthew Dobbel was charged with second degree disorderly conduct, providing false information to a police officer and for a warrant that was out for his arrest.

Dobbel was detained without bail.
