No one was hurt, when a vehicle left the roadway Monday afternoon west of Roseburg.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 2:00 p.m. an Umpqua man was on Garden Valley Road when he briefly took his eyes off the road, and looked up to see that the vehicle in front of him had come to a stop, to allow another vehicle to make a right-hand turn onto Cherokee.

The report said the man traveled off the east side of the road, swiping a brick fence, continuing on until he hit a Century Link box and then hit another fence. The report said the motorist contacted the owners of the fences, while dispatch contacted Century Link. No citations were issued.
