3 NEW CONFIRMED CASES OF COVID-19 IN DOUGLAS COUNTY AS OF MONDAY

There are 3 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County as of Monday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of confirmed and presumptive cases in the county is now at 65 – 56 of those confirmed and 9 presumptive. The update said 2 presumptive cases were confirmed Monday with the return of positive test results. Since those cases were already counted in the total cases when they were reported as presumptive, the total number of cases only increases by 1.

1 person remains in the hospital. 19 people are currently in isolation. There have been zero deaths. 5,971 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.

The next drive through testing clinic with the Douglas Public Health Network will be on Tuesday. Those people without a primary care provider that are looking for a COVID-19 test, should contact the Sutherlin Aviva Health Clinic at 459-3788.
