A Roseburg man was cited after allegedly starting a fire on Sunday.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 2:10 p.m. the 55-year old reportedly started a small fire in the grass next to the large parking lot and the Dixon Steel building in the 400 block of Fulton.
The report said the fire spread to burn an area roughly 10 feet by 50 feet long, but it did not damage any property. The suspect extinguished most of the fire and prevented it from spreading to the building. City of Roseburg firefighters extinguished what remained of the smoldering fire.
The man was cited for prohibited outdoor burning and then was released.
