Three people were hurt in a head on crash near Crater Lake on Friday.

A report from the Oregon State Police said at about 4:20 p.m. an SUV was headed westbound near the North Entrance to the park. The report said it turned in front of an east bound vehicle that had the right of way. The driver and the passenger in the first vehicle and the driver of the second vehicle were all taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls.

The report said both vehicles sustained major damage and had to be towed from the scene.
