The Oregon Health Authority reported 168 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 as of Monday, with the state death toll remaining at 215.
The total number of cases in the state is now at 10,395. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:
*41 in Multnomah County
*34 in Washington County
*16 each in Clackamas, Marion and Umatilla counties
*10 each in Lane and Malheur counties
*4 in Morrow County
*3 each in Clatsop, Columbia, Josephine and Wasco counties
*2 in Deschutes County
*1 each in Benton, Douglas, Hood River, Jackson, Jefferson, Polk and Tillamook counties
OHA’s weekly testing summary showed that for the week of June 28th-July 5th, 39,914 tests were conducted. Of those tests, 5.3 percent were positive. Oregon’s number of tests performed has been steadily increasing but the number of positive cases and test rate positivity have increased significantly since late May, according to the OHA.
