A Myrtle Creek man was charged with reckless driving after a wreck on Thursday night.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 10:30 p.m. the 40-year old had left a residence on October Drive and crashed into a friend’s vehicle. The report said he sped off again and then lost control on Grant Avenue where he flipped his vehicle.

The man was transported to Mercy Medical Center. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
