Roseburg Police arrested a 36-year old man on charges of strangulation and menacing on Monday morning.

A report from Roseburg Police said just after 7:30 a.m. Michael Smith was jailed after he allegedly strangled and menaced a female victim in the 1000 block of Willow.

Smith was held on $56,250 bail.
