A Roseburg man was jailed for three counts of menacing and for resisting arrest by Roseburg Police on Monday.
Information from RPD said that 9:30 a.m. a report came in saying that 60-year old Bruce Abercrombie had allegedly threatened his neighbor, saying he would “End him” while approaching him with a large knife. The report said when police arrived, the suspect locked himself in his home in the 1300 block of Southeast Lane and threatened officers with the knife as well.
After trying to negotiate with him to come out, Abercrombie was tased and arrested without further incident.
Bail was set at $25,000.
