WOMAN JAILED AFTER DOWNTOWN INCIDENT

A Roseburg woman was jailed for an incident in the downtown area on Sunday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 1:50 p.m. 36-year old Megan Parshall was contacted while sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the Oak Street Market on Southeast Oak.

The report said the woman is already excluded from the downtown district. After being told that she was under arrest, the woman allegedly ran into the store, where she was also trespassed from. The report said the woman fought with an officer until she was taken into custody.

Charges included two counts of second-degree criminal trespass and for resisting arrest. She was detained on $18,750 bail.
