The Oregon Farm Bureau Memorial Scholarship Program has announced the scholarship recipients for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Administered through the Oregon Agricultural Education Foundation, 17 scholarships were awarded this year for a total of 24,000 given out to students.

Two Douglas County students were among the recipients:

*Elizabeth Kenagy is pursing Agricultural Business and Management at Oregon State University and received a $2,000 scholarship.

*Moriah Michaels is also pursuing Agricultural Business and Management, but is enrolled at the University of Idaho. She is getting a $1,500 scholarship.

OFBF Memorial Scholarship Coordinator Holly Michaels said the organization appreciates the contributions of its donors and friends who make it possible for young people to pursue a career in the agricultural industry.
