A 34-year old man was jailed after an alleged theft on Saturday.

Information from the Myrtle Creek Police said an officer responded to a reported shoplift at Ray’s Food Place. The report said the man allegedly took a $9 bottle of cologne into the store restroom, used it, and then flushed the rest of the contents. The man was stopped after he left the store.

The report said the man had a warrant out for his arrest from the Roseburg Police Department, which included multiple charges. He was held for third degree theft and for the warrant. Bail was set at $22,500.
