3 NEW CONFIRMED CASES OF COVID-19 IN DOUGLAS COUNTY

There are 3 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County as of Monday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the new cases are positive cases related to previous cases that were acquired out of state cases.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said there is 1 presumptive case and 1 person that remains in the hospital. There have been zero deaths and 4,880 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.

The Douglas Public Health Network will have its next drive through testing clinic on Tuesday.

The local COVID-19 Hotline remains open for those with questions about the virus. It is staffed by volunteers seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call 464-6550.
