COVID-19 CLAIMS 2 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 197 AS OF THURSDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, with the state death toll at 197 as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 124 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 7,568. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:

*29 in Multnomah County

*24 in Washington County

*13 in Klamath County

*10 in Union County

*8 each in Umatilla and Clackamas counties

*6 in Benton County

*5 in Lane County

*4 in Marion County

*3 in Lake County

*2 each in Coos, Deschutes, Linn, Malheur, and Polk counties

*1 each in Clatsop, Morrow, Wasco, and Yamhill counties

The new reported deaths were both 83-years of age and lived in Marion County. 1 was a woman and was one a man. Each one died at their residence and had underlying medical conditions according to the OHA.
